Richie Rodriguez grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and later moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas.   Upon graduating he worked as a loan officer for a large retail mortgage bank.  One year later he teamed up with a local mortgage broker, Texas Mortgage Consultants, to provide customers with a wide variety of mortgage programs. In 2008, Texas Mortgage Consultants merged with a mortgage bank, Hometrust Mortgage, to gain access to the best lenders in the country and the best interest rates within the industry.   As a licensed Mortgage Banker, Richie can shop your loan with dozens of lenders to find the best rate and loan program, perfectly tailored to fit your needs.  He has the ability to underwrite, close, and fund your loan "in-house."  Complete control of the loan process ensures a smooth closing, on time with no surprises.

Richie has a great desire to build quality relationships.  He maintains reliability and integrity as his top priorities. He has always had a passion for the mortgage/real estate business. Prior to the mortgage industry, he worked as an agent for numerous residential real estate brokerages. His commitment to putting the interests of his clients at the forefront of every transaction has earned him a loyal base of customer support as well as a strong foundation of referral business within the real estate and financial services communities. He has been actively involved within the professional community since 2002 and is considered a trusted expert regarding all types of real estate financing.

Richie is a private pilot and an avid Texas Longhorn fan. He enjoys spending his time with friends and family, helping others, playing sports, and the many other outdoor activities that Austin has to offer. He serves on the board of directors for a local outreach foundation and is a proud member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, the Texas Association of Realtors, and also flies as a pilot for the Civil Air Patrol squadron serving central Texas.
